Irma L. Williams, 95, died Friday, December 28, 2007 under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Miss Williams, a native of Savannah was born on January 27, 1912, the daughter of the late John P. and Gertrude L. Williams. She attended Chatham County public school and upon graduation began working with the Savannah Morning News and Evening Press as a secretary until her retirement. Irma was a lifelong member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist.
In addition to her parents, Miss Williams was preceded in death by her sisters, Jessie W. Owen and Elizabeth Rabey. She is survived by her First Church of Christ, Scientist family.
Graveside Funeral Service: 12:00 PM Wednesday at Laurel Grove Cemetery.

Irma was a wonderful lady and a good friend. I will miss her.
